Artist Bio
My name is Bonifacio but I go by my middle name, Paul. I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. My mother introduced me to drawing when I was a kid, but I never took it seriously till coming to prison. When I came to Stafford Creek I met some of the art community and started off with black and white portraits, they introduced me to an array of mediums / taught me many techniques and art became one of my escapes.
Artist Statement
“ I love art, I want my art to be good enough to hang on the same walls as the pieces that captivate, inspire, and motivate me the most. Most importantly, I want to be able to do the thing I am most passionate about and use it to take care of my family. I look forward to the day where I can teach my daughter how to draw and continue growing our family legacy.”
