Artist Bio
Hello, I’m Daniel and I grew up in Tacoma. I’ve been doing art for almost three decades. I started out doodling and ended up getting pretty decent at drawing. I grew out of drawing and moved into beading. I enjoy beading because cause it helps center me and keeps me motivated to see my projects come together. To me, my art and beadwork are almost as important to me as much as family.
Artist Statement
“I create art for family and friends and to share a piece of myself with others. I get joy out of knowing I created something and it brought happiness to someone who also enjoyed my work as much as me. I do medallions, 3D birds, earrings and necklaces. I don’t know how to do something I try and figure it out. If someone wants to learn I will gladly sit with them. I don’t mind teaching others how to create their own beadwork.”
